Seaborne Assault 2019 finals complete in Kaliningrad region
Today, the final stage of the all-army stage of Seaborne Assault 2019 contest has completed at the Khmelevka training ground of the Baltic Fleet, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by a team of the Baltic Fleet, the second place - by a team of cadets of the Far Eastern High All-Arms Command School followed by the marines of the Caspian Flotilla.
More than 200 servicemen of the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Pacific fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, as well as cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School and the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School completed the third stage of the competition - the relay race.
The participants had to pass the route with various obstacles 10 kilometers long on the combat vehicles, practice standards in shooting from small arms and grenade launchers, arming combat vehicles, bombarding the enemy with grenades, and swim 600 meters in the Baltic Sea.
On Sunday, a solemn closing ceremony will be held at the Khmelevka training ground, where the winners of the competitions will be announced and awarded.
The Seaborne Assault 2019 all-army competition is taking place as part of the International Army Games 2019 at the Khmelevka training ground, Baltic Fleet. The winners will represent Russia at the international competition.
