    Damen Shipyards Group supports Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging Congress as its General Sponsor

    Damen Shipyards Group traditionally supports the Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging Congress as its General Sponsor. The event will be held on 26-27 February 2020 in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (Moscow). The agreement has been signed by DAMEN and Russia’s leading maritime industry media group PortNews, the event organizer.

    The 3rd Congress “Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging” will be held with the support of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency and will include the 7th International Dredging Forum and the 3rd Technical Conference "Modern Solutions for Hydraulic Engineering".   

    International experience in implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects in seaports and on inland water ways of the Russian Federation has always been in domestic customers’ focus of interest. Numerous industry related innovations are being successfully applied in Russia as well as Russian innovations being introduced abroad.  The Congress delegates will have an opportunity to share the experience of using the most advanced technologies of dredging and hydraulic engineering.

    Gorinchem, Netherlands headquartered Damen Shipyards Group (established in 1927) has 36 owned shipyards and employs 12,000 people worldwide. In total, Damen Shipyards Group has built 6,500 vessels and annually delivers about 175 ships to 100 countrries. Damen specializes in building tugs, workboats, patrol vessels, high speed craft, cargo vessels, dredgers, offshore support vessels, oil-spill response vessels, frigates and mega yachts.
