    Корейский регистр судов (KR) выдал HHI одобрение в принципе конструкции топливных танков двух морских автомобилевозов на СПГ

    Южнокорейский регистр судов (KR), международное классификационное общество, выдало принципиальное одобрение (AIP) для подтверждения соответствия проекта двухтопливного морского автомобилевоза, работающего на сжиженном природном газе (СПГ), разработанного судостроительным гигантом Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), говорится в сообщении KR.

    Одобрение выдается на два специализированных судна для перевозки легковых автомобилей и грузовиков (PCTC). Вместимость автомобилевозов составляет 7 тыс. CEU (единица измерения загрузки) и 8,1 тыс. CEU.

    Оба судна предполагается оснастить грузовыми танками типа C, соответствующими требованиям IMO, являющихся вкладными, независимыми, самонесущими топливными танками для СПГ. Оба судна будут оснащены двухтопливными системами, которые позволяют эффективно переключаться между топливными режимами (с СПГ на мазут). Конструкция судна предусматривает оптимальное расположение топливных танков, что облегчит погрузку транспортируемых автомобилей. KR был выполнен всесторонний анализ рисков, чтобы безопасно предотвращать и контролировать выхлопные газы автомобилей и СПГ топливо.

    В соответствии с классификацией IMO топливные танки СПГ танкера разделяются на два типа: мембранный танк и независимый самонесущий танк. В свою очередь независимые танки подразделяются на танки типа A, типа B и типа C. Танк типа C использует систему сдерживания давления, которая обеспечивает безопасность, надежность и отсутствие риска утечки топлива.

    Судовой регистр напоминает, что вступившие в силу с января 2020 года жесткие требования IMO по содержанию серы на уровне 0,5% и планируемое сокращение на 50% (в сравнении с 2008 годом) парниковых газов к 2050 году, верфи и судоходные компании сталкиваются со сложным выбором для выполнения международных стандартов и ужесточением стандартов в области защиты окружающей среды.

    Компания HHI считает, что двухтопливная силовая установка с возможностью работы на СПГ предлагает наиболее эффективное решение, отвечающее этим жестким экологическим правилам. Двухтопливная пропульсивная установка на СПГ обеспечивает снижение выбросов CO2 на 40-50% (в сравнении с 2008 годом) для всех типов судов, включая малые и среднетоннажные суда.

    Благодаря применению дополнительных энергосберегающих устройств, таких как система воздушной смазки и повышению эксплуатационных характеристик судна, можно добиться дополнительного снижения на 10-20%, что позволит соответствовать установленной планке по выбросам углекислого газа к 2050 году.

    Южнокорейское классификационное общество Корейский регистр судов (KR) было создано в 1960 году с целью обеспечения безопасности жизни на море, имущества и защиты морской среды. В настоящее время KR имеет в своем регистре международный флот из 3040 судов общей валовой вместимостью 68 млн тонн. Головной офис KR находится в Пусане (Южная Корея).
