Maersk puts two vessels on new East Asia route

A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S, owner of the world's largest shipper, will start a new route in East Asia in an effort to tap lucrative trading channels and return the container business to profit.
Maersk Line will deploy two vessels, each with a capacity of 4,000 containers, to call at ports in Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, the Copenhagen-based company said Friday.
