At the session of Moscow 'Forum Russia' last week under discussion were the issues of taxation in the oil and gas sphere, FIS reports. Head of the oil department of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Energy Sergey Mikhailov said that Russian energy policy aims to create the conditions and game rules such as to allow the companies to build up long-term development plans. He said that Russia is playing a more important part in the international system of energy security now and undertook serious obligations in the transportation of hydrocarbon resources. The Ministry is conducting a continuous dialog with the oil and gas companies to identify the existing problems and develop joint solutions acceptable to both parties.
