Philippines searches for 28 missing after ship sinks

The Philippine coastguard on Monday searched for 28 Chinese fishermen missing after their ship sank off the northwestern coast, an official said.
The Jinshan ship had sunk with 28 crew on board when it developed problems while passing through Cape Bojeador, said coastguard spokesman Armando Balilo.
A coastguard vessel with a medical team and rescue swimmers was dispatched on Sunday night to search for the Chinese crew.
