German shipping companies Hamburg Süd and Hapag-Lloyd are restructuring the EPIC service between Europe and the Middle East/India. The two lines will be deploying six 4,000 TEU vessels to operate a weekly service, with Hapag-Lloyd providing four ships and Hamburg Süd the other two.
The ships each have a capacity of 400 reefer plugs. The first sailing is planned for the beginning of May and the two companies say the final rotation is to be announced shortly.
