Wagons accumulated in the port of Novorossiysk to be unloaded by weekend

Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP OJSC) plans to unload wagons accumulated at the port’s approaches by the end of the current week, the port’s press center reports according to Yuga.ru. The storm warning was cancelled on February 20 and the company resumes unloading, the press release reads. Storm warnings are quite typical for the port in this season. In early February 25 trains loaded with ferrous metal accumulated at the approaches to the port. As of today, there are 6 trains (362 wagons). The forecasts say the unloading will take 2-3 days.

All activities are resumed in the port of Novorossiysk. The port’s facilities were not damaged by the storm. The weather forecast is stable and the port is to continue its normal operation, the press center says.
