CSAV Norasia adds loop and Malaysian call to VTX service

CSAV Norasia, a part of Chile's CSAV Group, is upgrading its intra Asia service between Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia (VTX) to introduce a third loop and a port of call in Malaysia.
From the existing two-loop service, VTX will start calling at Port Klang on February 24 and change into a three-loop service. "Through this weekly country specific shuttle service of VTX, CSAV Norasia has further enhanced its products and service from major Asian ports with various trade lanes to the rest of the world," a statement from the carrier said.
VTX will deploy four ships on the amended service with an average capacity of 900 TEU in a weekly rotation of 28 days, as follows:
Loop 1: Singapore, Port Kelang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Port Klang, Singapore.
Loop 2: Port Klang, Singapore, Surabaya, Semerang, Jakarta, Singapore, Port Klang.
Loop 3: Singapore, Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore, Port Klang.
The shipping line said that the service offering is intended to provide more diverse loading options and improve transit times between southeast Asia.
