Throughput of Russian seaports in 8M’17 grew by 10.4% to 517.25 mln t

In January-August 2017, Russian seaports handled 517.25 mln t of cargo (+10.4 %, year-on-year) including 239.90 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+9.9 %) and 277.36 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+10.8 %), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 48.77 mln t (+ 62.2%) including 19.09 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+ 8.8%) and 29.68 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 136.9 %).
 
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 164.63 mln t (+ 5.9%) including 68.32 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+17.3%) and 96.31 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-0.9%).
 
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 172.34 mln t (+ 9.1 %) including 72.00 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+6.5%) and 100.34 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 11.0%).
 
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.39 mln t (- 36.0 %) including 1.70 mln t of dry bulk cargo (-6.1%) and 0.69 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-64.1%).
 
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 129.12 mln t (+ 6.3%) including 78.79 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+ 7.7%) and 50.33 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+4.1%).
