In January-March 2018, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 70,200 tonnes of fish cargo (+14.3%, year-on-year), says the stevedoring company. According to the company’s statement, its total throughput in QI’2018 grew by 11.5%.
In the three-month period the company handled 48 vessels with fish.
Container throughput of the company grew by 11.6% to 36,230 TEUs.
Under the agreement signed by Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port and Primorsky Territory authorities on 31 January 2018, the company ceased handling coal at it Berth No 50 on January 8, ahead of schedule.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port JSC is one of the leading ports in Russia’s Far East able to handle up to 5 million tonnes of cargo per year including more than 200,000 TEUs. It is located on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 10 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. In 2017, the company handled 3.98 mln t of cargo (+19.6%).
