    Dates:   2020 November 24 - 2020 November 24

The Maritime Standard Tanker Conference has now been confirmed. It will take place on Wednesday 24 November at Dubai World Trade Centre. As well as a packed programme of presentations and panels during the day, it will once again offer an opportunity for speakers and attendees to network informally at a special evening reception afterwards. The Maritime Standard Tanker Conference is taking place the day after the market leading TMS Awards, to maximise attendance and ensure high profile participants.

The fourth The Maritime Standard Tanker Conference, organised by Flagship Events, took place at the Atlantis, the Palm, Dubai, on 22nd October 2019, in front of a full house. The event attracted a top-quality audience of more than 250 people, including delegates from all the leading tanker owners and operators from across the region.

The packed Conference heard from a host of top speakers from different segments of the tanker business and support sectors.

The Conference took as its theme ‘Opening up new horizons’, and positive opportunities, as well as critical challenges, were highlighted. Discussions about the IMO 2020 sulphur cap, trade trends and politico-economic developments were to the fore. Keynote addresses were given by HE Ahmed M.Sl Al Khoori, Director General, FTA Land & Maritime; Captain Ali Shehab, deputy chief executive of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company; Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, Chief Executive Officer, ADNOC Logistics & Services; and Abdulla bin Damithan, Chief Commercial Officer, DP World.
