DVTG to launch service on containerized cargo delivery ex Vostochny port to Poland
Far eastern Transport Group (DVTG) OJSC is planning to implement the project on containerized cargo shipment ex Vostochnyi port to Poland. As per the press-service information, the project is already elaborated; its implementation is to commence in nearest future.
There is information that containers delivery to the customers’ plants will be carried out in trucks in the territory of Poland. Cargo will be shipped in smaller volumes in the beginning: 20 containers with gradual increase to route shipments.
The company also informed on implementation of project with LG Chemical. Two rail-cars are being loaded in Vostochnyi port to be dispatched to Tuchkovo DVTG terminal not far from Moscow. The project will develop further on, as per the information, another set of LG Chemical containers is on the way already. They will be dispatched to Tuchkovo container terminal as well.
DVTG is a large railway operator. It comprises the companies that provide services on liquid, containerized, bulk and general cargo shipment in local and international markets in their own and leased rolling stocks.
