  B Нью-Йорке из хранилища, расположенного на берегу канала Артур Килл, вытекло 1,1 млн л дизтоплива.

  В хранилище топлива в Нью-Йорке произошла утечка 1,1 млн л дизельного топлива. По неподтвержденным данным, инцидент мог стать последствием удара урагана Sandy, передает РБК.
  
  Нефтеразлив произошел на базе хранения Motiva, которая расположена на берегу канала Артур Килл, отделяющего остров Стэтен от материка. К месту ЧП уже отправлены около 200 сотрудников береговой охраны и добровольцев, которые при помощи заграждений пытаются остановить распространение нефтепродуктов. По словам очевидцев, часть топлива уже попала в воду.
  
  Ураган Sandy прошел над Нью-Йорком 31 октября. В настоящий момент экстренные службы занимаются ликвидацией разрушений, вызванных стихией.
