Throughput of Archangelsk port up 26% to 5.58 mln t in 2012
In 2012 the port of Archangelsk increased its throughput by 26%, year-on-year. As PortNews was informed by the port administration, transshipment of oil product grew by 60.6% to 2.24 mln t, timber freight fell by 4.3% to 469,000 t, cellulose (as well as cardboard and paper) grew by 27.5% to 115,300 t, coal – up 1.63 times to 432,600 t, coastal freight cargo – up 32.8% to 2.1 mln t.
In 2011 the port handled 4.26 mln t of cargo.
