Transiidikeskuse AS four-month container volumes rise 4.3% to 88,290 TEUs

Container throughput at Muga, Estonia based Transiidikeskuse AS terminal in January-April 2014 increased by 4.3% over the same period in 2013 to 88,290 TEUs, the terminal operator said in a press release.

Aggregate cargo volume handled at the container terminal and general cargo terminal for the past four months reached 987,051 tonnes, a 11.6% gain from the same period last year.

In April, the facility handled 26,608 TEUs, or a 15.4% growth year-on-year. Tonnage of containerized goods increased by 13.2%.

Transiidikeskuse AS is the operator of specialized terminals for handling containerized and general cargoes in the port of Muga.
