    В Сочи состоялось открытие «Морской деревни», приуроченное к SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014

    В порту Сочи 14 мая 2014 года состоялось открытие «Морской деревни», приуроченное к прибытию в город SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014, сообщает оргкомитет регаты.

    Мэр города Анатолий Пахомов приветствовал участников регаты, жителей и гостей города. По его словам, после проведения зимней Олимпиады город получил солидную материально-техническую базу, здесь одновременно заработали 25 современных отелей, которые управляются международными отельными сетями, и способны принять до 24 тыс. гостей.

    «Мы хотим, чтобы как можно больше значимых международных мероприятий как «СКФ Черноморская регата больших парусников» проходили в Сочи. Эта регата способствует укреплению братских связей между странами-участницами регаты, между городами Черного моря — участниками регаты», - отметил Пахомов.

    Во второй половине дня для жителей и гостей города были открыты для посещения как Новая круизная гавань, где пришвартовались суда класса А — самые большие, красивые и легендарные парусники: «Седов», «Крузенштерн», «Мир», «Надежда», Mircea, так и мелководные причалы Морского порта Сочи, где разместились суда класса C и D.

    Круизная гавань будет открыта для посещения до 17 мая.

    Напомним, участники регаты SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014 покинули порт Новороссийск и направились в Сочи утром 12 мая 2014 года. Переход составляет около 100 морских миль.

    Второй этап гонки Сочи - Констанца (Румыния) начнется 18 мая.

    Финиш в порту Констанца запланирован на 24 мая.

    SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014 или Черноморская регата больших парусников проходит с 30 апреля по 27 мая 2014 года. Это уникальное морское событие впервые состоится под флагом России. Внушительная армада из самых больших учебно-парусных судов со всего мира, включая российские «Крузенштерн», «Мир», «Надежда», «Седов», дважды пересечет Черное море и посетит четыре порта: Варну, Новороссийск, Сочи и Констанцу. Российские города провели масштабные работы по благоустройству портовой зоны и подготовили интересные береговые программы как для участников и гостей регаты, так и для самих горожан.

    В регате принимают участие 22 учебно-парусных судна из 9 стран мира, из них 9 судов класса А.
