    Барк «Крузенштерн» отказался от захода в британский порт Фалмут из-за отсутствия гарантий неприкосновенности

    Барк «Крузенштерн» отказался от захода в британский порт Фалмут, где будет проходить регата  Falmouth Tall Ships Regatta, из-за отсутствия гарантий неприкосновенности и безопасности судна. Об этом говорится в сообщении Балтийской государственной академии рыбопромыслового флота, в чьем ведении находится учебный парусник. При этом политический подтекст отказа от захода в этот порт в академии отрицают, утверждая, что участие парусника в регате изначально не планировалось.

    «Первоначально заход в Фалмут был запланирован по приглашению властей города. Но, принимая во внимание отсутствие для УПС «Крузенштерн» со стороны организаторов захода в порт гарантий по сохранности, безопасности и неприкосновенности судна, Росрыболовство заранее согласовало с судовладельцем исключение из плана-графика рейса №3/115 заход в порт в Фалмут в период с 28 по 31 августа», - говорится в сообщении.

    «Никаких политических демаршей в сторону УПС «Крузенштерн» судовладелец не принимал. На 2015 год подтверждены все запланированные участия в регатах и морских фестивалях», - подчеркивают в академии.

    В данный момент барк следует в испанский Сантандер для участия в чемпионате мира по парусному спорту. Переговоры по заходу «Крузенштерна» в Сантандер велись два года.
