    Таллиннский порт (Эстония) выиграл конкурс на паромное сообщение Рохукюла-Хелтермаа и Куйвасту-Виртсу

    Государственная компания Tallinna Sadam (Таллиннский порт, Эстония), выигравшая государственный тендер по оперированию паромным сообщением на пассажирских линиях Рохукюла-Хелтермаа и Куйвасту-Виртсу, готова приступить к перевозкам между островами и материком с 1 октября 2016 года на четырех паромах. Об этом, как сообщает пресс-служба компании, заявил председатель совета Таллиннского порта Ремо Хольсмер.

    «Мы подошли к организации паромного сообщения как к коммерческому проекту и искали решение, которое одновременно будет отвечать и экономическим целям Таллиннского порта, и решению государства создать конкуренцию нынешнему оператору», - отметил он.
     
    Договоры о строительстве и закупке четырех паромов будут заключены в течение текущей и следующей недели. Договоры планируется заключить с двумя судостроительными предприятиями, каждое из которых построит по два парома.
     
    Согласно условиям тендера каждый паром будет вмешать не менее 150 легковых автомобилей или десяти автопоездов. Паром оснащен спасательным оборудованием и пассажирскими местами, рассчитанными на не менее 600 пассажиров.

    Таллинн после портов Санкт-Петербург, Приморск и Усть-Луга является четвертым по величине портом Балтийского моря. Таллинский порт состоит из пяти так называемых портовых зон: Muuga, Old City Harbour, Paljassaare, Paldiski South и Saaremaa. Грузооборот порта Таллинн за 2013 год составил 28,25 млн тонн. Количество пассажиров в 2013 году выросло на 4,% - до 9,2 млн человек. Чистая прибыль Tallinna Sadam в 2013 году выросла на 21% - до 39,7 млн евро.
