    Stena Bulk провела церемонию имянаречения нового химовоза Stena Impression в Сингапуре (фото)

    Церемония имянаречения нового танкера-химовоза среднего тоннажа (MR) класса Imoiimax и дедвейтом 50 тыс. тонн Stena Impression состоялась 4 февраля 2015 года в Сингапуре, говорится в пресс-релизе Stena Bulk.

    Танкер Stena Impression отправляется в свой первый рейс с грузом пальмового масла и прибудет в порт назначения в США через два месяца.

    Судно является первым в серии из 10 судов, заказанных Stena Bulk, общей стоимостью $400 млн со сроком поставки до 2017 года. Судно принадлежит совместному предприятию (50/50) Stena Bulk и индонезийской группы Golden Agri Resources (GAR).

    Суда будут эксплуатироваться Stena Weco в составе флота из 60 танкеров. Танкеры типа Imoiimax предназначены для транспортировки грузов класса IMO 2 и 3, растительного масла, химических веществ, светлых и темных нефтепродуктов.

    Концепция Imoiimax танкеров была разработана Stena Teknik (подразделение Stena Bulk) вместе с инженерами китайской верфи в Гуанчжоу. Танкер оборудован 18 грузовыми танками одинакового размера, каждый вместимостью по 3 тыс. куб. м, что позволяет перевозить одновременно различные жидкие грузы. Технические решения в движительной установке позволяют достигать 10-20% снижения расхода топлива по сравнению с другими судами того же размера.

    Характеристики судна: длина - 183 м; ширина - 32 м; дедвейт - 50 тыс. тонн.

    Stena Bulk является одним из крупнейших международных танкерных перевозчиков. Офисы компания расположены в шести странах мира. Stena Bulk имеет общий флот включающий около 100 танкеров. Stena Bulk входит в группу Stena Sphere, численность персонала которой составляет более 20 тыс. сотрудников.
