Central Marine Research and Design Institute wins tender for development of concept project of Arctic boxship

Central Marine Resarch and Design Institute has won a competition for the development of a concept project of an ice-class container carrier of enhanced capacity for high-latitude lines of the Northern Sea Route. According to the tender materials, the bidding price proposed by the Central Marine Research and Design Institute (CNIIMF) is RUB 55.2 mln.

The bids were also submitted by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping and Nordic Yards.
