    Франция решила не поставлять России Mistral, а выплатить $1,2 млрд

    Правительство Франции решил не поставлять вертолетоносцы типа Mistral, заявил министр обороны Франции Жан-Ив Ле Дриан, выступая 6 июля 2015 года в Фонде Маршалла в Вашингтоне перед экспертами и журналистами. Как передает ТАСС, министр назвал сумму, которую придется выплатить за неисполнение контракта - $1,2 млрд.

    Министр обороны напомнил, что передача кораблей России была приостановлена осенью 2014 года президентом Франции Франсуа Олландом в связи с ее политикой в отношении Украины. «Это было правильное стратегическое решение», - сказал Ле Дриан.

    Неисполнение контракта обойдется правительству его страны в $1,2 млрд, но другого выхода нет, подчеркнул он. Франции придется искать нового покупателя этих кораблей, и это будет нелегко, признал министр обороны.

    Напомним, помощник президента РФ по вопросам военно-технического сотрудничества Владимир Кожин в июне 2015 года заявил, что Россия занимается урегулированием вопроса о возврате денег Mistral и планирует «в течение месяца» подписать с Францией итоговый документ на эту тему.

    Главнокомандующий ВМФ России Виктор Чирков в ходе 7-го Международного военно-морского салона 1 июля 2015 года заявил, что в России существует проект вертолетоносца, чьи характеристики превышают показатели французского корабля типа Mistral.

    Как в свою очередь отметил президент Объединенной судостроительной корпорации (ОСК) Алексей Рахманов, корпорация приступила к комплексному техническому перевооружению верфей Северо-Запада, которые будут способны выполнить подобные заказы.

    Контракт на поставку двух вертолетоносцев был заключен между французской компанией DCNS и «Рособоронэкспортом» в 2011 году. Стоимость контракта - 1,2 млрд евро, это крупнейшее соглашение в области ВТС двух стран.

    Первый корабль - «Владивосток» - должен был отправиться в Россию в 2014 году, второй - «Севастополь» - в 2015 году. Против поставки кораблей выступили США. В свою очередь, в DCNS уверяли, что санкции США не могут помешать строительству и передаче Mistral.
    Вертолетоносцы типа Mistral имеют водоизмещение 21 тыс. тонн, максимальную длину корпуса 210 м, способны развивать скорость до 18 узлов, максимальная дальность плавания доходит до 20 тыс. миль. Авиагруппа включает 16 вертолетов (Ка-52К), шесть из которых могут одновременно размещаться на взлетной палубе.
