  Барк «Седов» участвует в международном морском фестивале BremerhavenSail 2015 (фото)

  Учебно-парусное судно Росрыболовства «Седов» 12 августа 2015 года прибыло на международный морской фестиваль BremerhavenSail 2015, сообщает пресс-служба агентства.

  «Легендарный барк Росрыболовства «Седов», замыкая семикилометровую колонну участников парусного фестиваля, прибыл в Бремерхафен – самый большой и ультрасовременный портовый город Германии на побережье Северного моря. Раз в пять лет в конце лета один из самых значимых в Европе международный морской фестиваль собирает в устье реки Везер красивейшие парусники со всех уголков света», - говорится в сообщении.

  Открытие фестиваля ознаменовалось торжественной церемонией: капитаны самых именитых кораблей из Дании, Эквадора, Франции, Индии, Колумбии, Нидерландов, Чили и России собрались вместе в Музее эмиграции Германии, чтобы оставить памятный автограф в «Золотой книге» почетных гостей.
  
  Заходу в порт Бремерхафен предшествовал переход из Ростока по Балтийскому морю через проливы Большой Бельт, Каттегат и Скагеррак.

  Во время стоянки в порту Бремерхафен экипаж и курсанты барка «Седов» смогут увидеть уникальные парусные суда из Европы, Азии и Южной Америки, бесплатно посетить городские музеи, поучаствовать в спортивных мероприятиях, и пригласить гостей фестиваля BremerhavenSail 2015 на борт барка «Седов».

  Барк «Седов» - учебное парусное судно Росрыболовства, самый большой в мире парусник. Построен в 1921 году. Длина - 117,5 м, водоизмещение 7 320 тонн, экипаж – 230 человек, площадь парусов - 4192 кв. м. Судно заложенное на верфи Круппа в Киле (Германия), первоначально называлось «Магдалена Виннен» (Magdalene Vinnen) по имени дочери первого владельца. Судно строилось для перевозки навалочных грузов между портами Европы и Южной Америки, Австралии, Юго-Восточной Азии и Океании. В 1936 году «Седов» сменил владельца, был переоборудован кубриками на 70 кадетов и начал использоваться одновременно как грузовое и учебное.
  
  Во время Второй Мировой войны барк под именем «Командор Йонсон» ходил в Балтийском море под военно-морским флагом Германии. После войны «Командор Йонсон» был передан СССР по репарации. В начале 1946 года на паруснике был поднят флаг СССР и под новым названием его перевели в класс учебных судов. В 1991 году передан Мурманскому государственному техническому университету (МГТУ), являющимся подведомственным образовательным учреждением Федерального агентства по рыболовству. Барк «Седов» занесен в «Книгу рекордов Гиннесса» как самый крупный сохранившийся до наших дней парусник.
