    Терминал АРМ Terminals в порту Пипавав (Индия) начал принимать Ro-Ro грузы на новом сервисе

    На новом Ro-Ro терминале в порту Пипавав (Гуджарат, Индия) 27 августа 2015 года ошвартовалось первое судно-автомобилевоз Grand Dahila (валовая вместимость – 59,2 тыс. тонн) для погрузки 1,3 тыс. автомобилей Ford, построенных на индийских заводах и экспортируемых в Мексику, говорится в сообщении APM Terminals.

    Быстро развивающийся порт Пипавав в Западной Индии входит в глобальную сеть терминалов APM Terminals. О начале обработки грузов на Ro-Ro сервисе в порту Пипавав было объявлено в июне прошлого года, после заключения соглашения с дочерней компанией NYK (Япония) – NYK Auto Logistics (NAL) для логистики в Индии экспортных готовых автомобилей и услуг. Соглашение также предусматривало строительство нового терминала для обработки автомобилей.

    На территории нового автомобильного терминала NAL расположена складская площадка для автомобилей площадью 80 тыс. кВ. м (20 акров), участок погрузки (4,4 тыс. кВ. м). Порт Пипавав передал в лизинг логистическому оператору NAL территорию терминала, на котором будет переваливаться до 250 тыс. автомобилей в год. На причалах АРМ Terminals Pipavav также обрабатываются контейнеры, навалочные и наливные грузы, которые доставляются на двухярусных железнодорожных платформах во внутренние районы страны.

    Недавно в 300 км от порта Пипавав было завершено строительство завода Ford, производящего автомобили и двигатели (стоимость $1 млрд) в Сананде (штат Гуджарат). Завод сможет ежегодно производить до 240 тыс. автомобилей и двигателей, 50% из которых будут экспортироваться. За первые 11 месяцев финансового года индийский экспорт автомобилей Ford вырос до 71,181 ед., превысив внутренние индийские продажи этих автомобилей (69,885).

    В этом же штате расположены заводы General Motors и местного автопроизводителя Tata Motors. Японская компания Suzuki Motors также объявила о строительстве нового автозавода мощностью 750 тыс. автомобилей в год (открытие планируется в 2017 году). Таким образом Гуджарат стал третьим кластером для автомобильного производства в Индии и новый центром экспорта готовых автомобилей.

    В настоящее время продолжается увеличение перевалочных мощностей на терминале: будет проведена реконструкция действующего причала, проведено дноуглубление, будут получены три новых крана класса post-Panamax и четыре крана RTG. Модернизация позволит терминалу принимать двухъярусные вагоны для транспортировки контейнеров повышенной вместимости. В апреле 2014 года в этом же порту был открыт новый нефтеналивной терминал, управляемый по договору субаренды Aegis Group. Контейнерооборот на причалах APM Terminals Pipavav в 2014 году вырос на 18% и составил 780 тыс. TEUs. Объем навалочных грузов составил 3,13 млн тонн.
