  Совбез ООН разрешил перехватывать суда, подозреваемые в незаконном ввозе мигрантов

  Совет Безопасности ООН принял резолюцию 2240 (2015) по незаконному ввозу мигрантов, разрешающая государствам-членам перехватывать суда, подозреваемые в незаконном ввозе мигрантов. Об этом говорится в материалах Совета.

  В резолюции подчеркивается, что разрешение на досмотр судов распространяется лишь на ситуацию, связанную с незаконным провозом мигрантов и торговлей людьми в открытом море у побережья Ливии.

  Совет Безопасности ООН призвал государства и региональные организации, чьи военные корабли и авиация действуют в открытом море и воздушном пространстве у побережья Ливии, «проявлять бдительность в отношении актов незаконного провоза мигрантов и торговли людьми».

  Документ в соответствии с международным правом уполномочивает государства-члены в течение одного года останавливать в открытом море у берегов Ливии и досматривать любые суда, которые подозревались или подозреваются в использовании организованными преступными группами для незаконного ввоза мигрантов в другую страну и торговли людьми из Ливии.

  В резолюции речь идет о любых судах, включая надувные лодки, плоты, и шлюпки. Однако для досмотра судов, идущих под флагом какой-либо страны, необходимо получить согласие государства флага.
