Kamchatka Shipping Company says it has expanded its fleet with M/V Yury Tarapurov. The dry cargo carrier homeported in Vladivostok will fly the flag of the Russian Federation.
Container capacity of the ship is 678 TEUs including up to 60 reefer containers. Apart from containers, the Yury Tarapurov can carry general and bulk cargo. The ship is equipped with three 40-tonne electro-hydraulic cranes for off-harbor handling operations. The vessel’s class complies with the standards applicable in the Far East region of Russia.
“The new vessel, alongside with the operating fleet, will let Kamchatka Shipping Company expand its footprint and deliver cargoes not only to Kamchatka, but also to Sakhalin, Magadan and Chukotka,” says the statement.
Kamchatka Shipping Company is a maritime transport operator in the Far East which delivers cargoes to Kamchatka from any point of Russia.
