    Первая загрузка ядерного топлива на ПЭБ «Академик Ломоносов» запланирована на I квартал 2017 года

    Первая загрузка ядерного топлива для строящегося на ООО «Балтийский завод - Судостроение» лавучего энергоблока (ПЭБ, энергоустановка в составе плавучей атомной теплоэлектростанции - ПАТЭС) «Академик Ломоносов» запланирована на I квартале 2017 года. Об этом сообщил главный строитель ПАТЭС Балтзавода Александр Ковалев, передает ТАСС.

    «Академик Ломоносов» - головное судно, которое сооружается для замещения мощностей Билибинской АЭС на Чукотке. Энергоблоки АЭС будут выводиться из строя в 2019-2021 годах.

    Как сообщалось ранее, после завершения швартовных испытаний ПАТЭС «Академик Ломоносов» выйдет с завода как готовый объект, который будет доставлен по Северному морскому пути к месту работы и подключен к береговой инфраструктуре, сооружаемой в порту Певек (Чукотка). Готовность энергоблока к транспортировке должна быть достигнута к концу 2017 года. В сентябре 2019 года «Росэнергоатом» планирует приступить к установке энергоблока на штатное место, а осенью 2019 года – начать испытания ПАТЭС и ввести ее в эксплуатацию.

    Плавучий энергетический блок (ПЭБ) «Академик Ломоносов» проекта 20870 предназначен для работы в составе плавучей атомной теплоэлектростанции (ПАТЭС). Станция оснащена реакторными установками КЛТ-40С, которые способны вырабатывать до 70 МВт электроэнергии и 50 Гкал/ч тепловой энергии в номинальном рабочем режиме, что достаточно для поддержания жизнедеятельности города с населением более 200 тыс. человек.

    ПЭБ предназначен для эксплуатации в районах Крайнего Севера и Дальнего Востока. Головной ПЭБ «Академик Ломоносов» строится для плавучей атомной теплоэлектростанции в г. Певек Чукотского автономного округа. ПЭБ – это уникальный и первый в мире проект мобильного транспортабельного энергоблока малой мощности.

    Его основная цель – обеспечить энергией крупные промышленные предприятия, портовые города, а также газовые и нефтяные платформы, расположенные в открытом море.
     
    ПЭБ водоизмещением 21,5 тыс. тонн может использоваться в качестве опреснителя, вырабатывая до 240 тыс. куб. м воды ежедневно. Его назначенный срок службы - 35-40 лет. Перезарядка реакторов осуществляется с периодичностью 2,5 - 3 года. Команда может составлять порядка 70-ти человек.

    ПАТЭС разработана с большим запасом прочности, который превышает все возможные угрозы и делает ядерные реакторы неуязвимыми для цунами и других природных катастроф. Кроме того, ядерные процессы на судах отвечают всем требованиям Международного агентства по атомной энергии (МАГАТЭ) и не несут угроз окружающей среде.
