Infotech Baltika launches offshore transshipment facility at Big Port St. Petersburg
Infotech Baltika JSC has put into operation an offshore transshipment facility on Lesnoy Mol roads of Big Port St. Petersburg, the company told IAA PortNews. The facility is designed for transshipment of dry cargo (rolled metal products, metal scrap and dry bulk cargoes in big bags) from river vessels to seagoing vessels.
The facility is to handle 300,000-600,000 t of cargo in 2016.
Infotech Baltika was established in 1992. The company offers services on cargo handling, shipping agency and forwarding for various oil products and dry cargoes in the ports of Saint-Petersburg, Primorsk, Vysotsk, Vyborg, Ust-Luga, Kaliningrad, Baltiysk, Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Murmansk, Vitino, Arkhangelsk, Nakhodka, Vanino and other Russian ports.
