    НИС «Академик Лаврентьев» вернулось во Владивосток из арктической экспедиции по изучению глобального потепления

    Научно-исследовательское судно (НИС) «Академик Лаврентьев» с 27 учеными из Москвы, Томска и Владивостока на борту вернулось из длительной арктической экспедиции, в которой изучались процессы, влияющие на изменения климата — в частности, выбросы метана на восточно-сибирском шельфе. Как передает vl.ru, 2 ноября 2016 года судно ошвартовалось на 44-м причале.

    Экспедиция продлилась в общей сложности 120 суток и стала самой продолжительной с 1990-х годов. В ней приняли участие 27 ученых из Тихоокеанского океанологического института ДВО РАН, Института океанологии РАН имени Ширшова из Москвы, Института физики атмосферы РАН и Института природных ресурсов и института кибернетики Томского политехнического университета.

    «Рейс состоял из трех этапов по 40 суток каждый. Первый этап начался во Владивостоке еще в середине июля, второй — в Петропавловске-Камчатском. Наша же часть экспедиции началась в Тикси, мы прилетели в Якутию и стартовали оттуда, - комментирует руководитель экспедиции доктор геолого-минералогических наук Олег Дударев. - Целью экспедиции стало изучение глобальных климатических изменений в арктическом регионе. В частности мониторинг выхода метана на восточно-сибирском шельфе».

    В первый раз огромные выходы метана специалисты ДВО РАН обнаружили в 2008 году при экспедиции на научно-исследовательском судне «Яков Смирницкий». Но провести серьезные исследования помешала ледовая обстановка. Следующая экспедиция состоялась уже в 2011 году. Мощные выбросы газа тогда были обнаружены на внешнем шельфе моря Лаптевых. В этом году ледовая обстановка позволила поработать подольше.

    Объемы метана в толще дна исчисляются миллиардами тонн. Если он будет активно выходить на поверхность, в атмосфере могут произойти катастрофические изменения, объясняет Олег Дударев. Например, за счет увеличения парниковых газов в атмосфере, их разогревания, а в дальнейшем — таяния мерзлоты, которой, словно панцирем, покрыта Арктика. Проблема глобальная, но такие масштабные участки для исследования есть только у России — например, восточно-сибирский шельф, аляскинский шельф.

    Ученые выходят на полигоны (три в море Лаптевых и еще два — в Восточно-Сибирском море), картируют расположение сипов (участков дна, где из пластов горных пород высвобождаются газы). На точке максимального проявления сипов происходит пробоотбор воды, донных осадков (попросту — грунта), воздуха. Сейчас все пробы в морозилках. Ученым предстоит анализ образцов в лабораториях. Часть из проб обработают в Стокгольмском университете в рамках договора о совместных исследований.

    Выход метана нельзя прекратить, говорят ученые. И пока затрудняются сказать, как парниковый газ влияет на природу прямо сейчас. Сейчас их задача — мониторить процесс, следить, не происходит ли усиление выбросов. И попытаться спрогнозировать, что случится в ближайшем будущем.

    В Японском море 14 суток пришлось идти по безобразной погоде, скорость ветра доходила до 30 м/с, рассказывает капитан судна «Академик Лаврентьев» Александр Парубенко.

    В условиях экспедиции прошли испытания автономного необитаемого подводного аппарата «Платформа», который ранее испытывали во Владивостоке. Робот, созданный за восемь месяцев Институтом проблем морских технологий ДВО РАН совместно с ТПУ, представляет собой небольшую желтую «торпеду». С его помощью можно наблюдать за обстановкой в толще воды — измерять глубину и температуру, выдавать информацию о качестве морской воды, изучать дно.
