    Губернатор Мурманской области считает развитие морского арктического туризма перспективным направлением (фото)

    Правительство Мурманской области и мировой крупнейший туроператор – компания TUI заключили соглашение о сотрудничестве, направленное на продвижение туристических продуктов региона. Документ в рамках V Мурманской международной деловой недели подписали губернатор Мурманской области Марина Ковтун и генеральный директор «ТТ-Трэвел» (торговый знак TUI) Тарас Демура. Марина Ковтун отметила роль туризма в экономике страны и Мурманской области, а также выразила надежду, что подписанное соглашение будет способствовать формированию качественного туристического продукта в регионе. Как одно из самых перспективных направлений губернатор выделила развитие морского арктического туризма. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба губернатора и правительства региона.

    Тарас Демура сообщил, что TUI планирует организовать круизные рейсы в Мурманск для российских туристов. Взаимодействие с органами власти позволяет наладить эффективные коммуникации, более четко понять, в каких туристических продуктах нуждается регион, подчеркнул руководитель компании.

    Интерес к развитию морского арктического туризма федеральных и региональных органов власти, транспортных компаний, туроператоров, руководства порта Мурманск продемонстрировало и тематическое совещание в рамках площадки «Сделано в Арктике» V Мурманской международной деловой недели. Выступая на нем, губернатор Марина Ковтун отметила, что арктический круизный туризм, несомненно, относится к узнаваемым туристским брендам Кольского полуострова – именно из порта Мурманск стартуют круизы на Северный полюс, более 17 лет сюда заходят круизные суда, с этого года в порту действует упрощенный визовый режим для иностранных туристов, прибывающих в Мурманск на паромах.

    «Однако эту туристическую отрасль еще можно и нужно развивать. Правительство Мурманской области в последние годы сделало много серьезных шагов в развитии туризма, сейчас в числе арктических регионов мы занимаем первое место по аттрактивности и узнаваемости. Сегодня люди хотят путешествовать, открывать для себя Россию, и Мурманская область должна стать территорией, отвечающей всем требованиям туроператоров и туристов», – подчеркнула Марина Ковтун.

    Участники дискуссии обсудили возможности пассажирского района порта Мурманск по приему круизных судов, круизного туризма на Шпицберген.
