  Вылет вертолета из Певека для поиска безопасного пути выхода из льдов четырех судов перенесен на 19 января

  Вылет вертолета Ми-8 компании «Чукотавиа» из Певека для обследования ледовой обстановки вокруг двух сухогрузов и двух сопровождающих их ледоколов в восточной части Восточно-Сибирского моря перенесен на 19 января 2017 года, передает агентство «Интерфакс - Дальний Восток» в ГУ МЧС по Чукотскому автономному округу.
  
  «Вылет вертолета в среду отменен. Принято решение о его вылете в четверг», - сказали в ГУ МЧС, пояснив, что вылет отменен из-за метеоусловий в районе нахождения судов.
  
  По словам представителя ГУ МЧС, экипажи ледоколов пока самостоятельно ищут варианты безопасного маршрута выхода из акватории Чукотки. Угрозы судам и экипажам нет.

  Напомним, 13 января 2017 года сухогрузы «Иоганн Махмасталь» и «Синегорск» в сопровождении ледоколов «Адмирал Макаров» и «Капитан Драницын» доставили из Архангельска на Чукотку почти 10 тонн груза, необходимого для продолжения строительства береговых гидротехнических сооружений первой в мире плавучей атомной теплоэлектростанции (ПАТЭС) «Академик Ломоносов». Плавучую станцию должны доставить и смонтировать на Чукотке в 2018 году. Разгрузка прошла успешно.
  
  Это был самый поздний заход судов в город Певек в навигационный период. При отправлении в обратный путь в 50 км от порта Певек караван судов оказался в сложной ледовой обстановке, которая сейчас составляет 10 баллов по десятибалльной шкале. Толщина льда в данном районе Восточно-Сибирского моря достигает более 1 м, высота торосов - 2,5 м.
