    Суда, застрявшие во льдах у порта Певек, могут остаться на зимовку - МЧС

    Суда каравана, который застрял во льдах в Чаунской губе на Чукотке, могут остаться там на зимовку. Как сообщает пресс-служба ГУ МЧС России по Чукотскому округу, выход из порта Певек в Восточно-Сибирское море преградила зона тяжелых льдов.

    «До улучшения ледовой обстановки и прокладки самого оптимального маршрута движения каравана, сухогрузы задержатся в порту Певек...Активно прорабатывается вопрос возможности принятия решения о постановке судов на зимовку», - говорится в сообщении.

    Ледоколы ФГУП «Росморпорт» «Адмирал Макаров» и «Капитан Драницын» продолжают ледовую разведку для определения возможности вывода сухогрузов через зону тяжелого льда, преградившего путь судам на выходе из Чаунской губы в Восточно-Сибирское море.

    Основная цель этого прежняя – найти проход в перемычке тяжелого льда, через который было бы возможно обеспечить вывод судов для их последующей проводки на восток.

    Правительство Чукотского округа готово оказать, в случае потребности, всю необходимую помощь - предоставление ГСМ, провизии и др. для безопасного нахождения в порту.

    В сообщении МЧС отмечается, что «ситуация не является чрезвычайной. Зимний отстой является положительной практикой по предупреждению происшествий связанных со сложной ледовой обстановкой».

    С капитанами судов поддерживается круглосуточная спутниковая телефонная связь, экипажи всех судов каравана в безопасности, суда обеспечены запасом провизии.

    Ситуация с караваном судов, находящимся в Восточно-Сибирском море находится на круглосуточном контроле правительства и ГУ МЧС России по Чукотскому автономному округу.

    Напомним, 7 января 2017 года в морской порт Певек прибыли ледоколы ФГУП «Росморпорт» «Адмирал Макаров» и «Капитан Драницын» и проводимые ими транспортные суда «Синегорск» и «Иоганн Махмасталь».  Отмечается, что сопровождаемые сухогрузы на момент перехода от западной границы Северного морского пути (СМП) до порта Певек (17 декабря 2016 года - 7 января 2017 года) полностью соответствовали техническим параметрам для  арктического  судоходства, имели все необходимые разрешения для выполнения рейса в акватории Севморпути.

    Основной задачей каравана была доставка груза в порт Певек - элементы строительных конструкций для плавучей атомной теплоэлектростанции. Ледоколы и суда поставленную задачу успешно выполнили.

    С 13 января 2017 года, завершив разгрузку груза, караван был готов к движению. Но в связи с изменением гидро-метеоусловий (в первую очередь, направления ветра) резко ухудшилась ледовая обстановка на выходе из Чаунской губы Восточно-Сибирского моря. Дальнейшая ледокольная проводка сухогрузов была бы связана с серьезными рисками повреждения этих судов ввиду сильного ледового дрейфа и сжатия.
