  Optimarin поставит на американскую верфь группы Fincantieri две очистные установки для балластных вод (OBS)‎‎

  Optimarin подписала новый контракт с Financtieri Bay Shipbuilding (FBS, Стерджен-Бэй, шт. Висконсин, США) на поставку двух установок мощностью 500 куб. м/час для очистки балластных вод (OBS).

  Как сообщила пресс-служба норвежской компании, аналогичный заказ был получен в прошлом году. Количество контрактов на поставку систем Optimarin Ballast Systems увеличилось после получения утверждения типового образца для альтернативных систем в Береговой охране США, отвечающей за сертификацию подобных систем.

  Системы от Optimarin будут поставлены в августе 2018 года и установлены на барже-продуктовозе грузоподъемностью 155 тыс. баррелей светлых нефтепродуктов. Optimarin, которая разрабатывает технологию очистки судовых балластных вод с момента своего создания в 1994 году, стала производителем первой коммерческой установки в 2000 году, а также первым производителем, получившим утверждение образца и сертификат от Береговой охраны США в декабре 2016 года.

  На сегодняшний день компания Optimarin получила заказы на почти 500 установок OBS. Более 200 новых систем установлены на международных судах, и 100 установок были модернизированы специалистами Optimarin в рамках конверсии судов. В прошлом, наиболее успешном году, компания заключила контракты на 120 единиц своих установок. В компании отмечают, что помимо сертификации БО США технология OBS получила утверждение IMO и классификационных обществ, включая DNV GL, Lloyd, Bureau Veritas, MUT Japan и американского ABS.

  Компания Optimarin (головной офис — Осло, Норвегия) является пионером в разработке и производстве систем очистки балластных вод. Первая в мире система управления балластными водами (BWMS) была установлена на борту круизного судна Regal Princess в 2000 году. Система Optimarin получила утверждение типового образца в 2009 году, в соответствии с Международной конвенцией о контроле судовых балластных вод и осадков и управлении ими (BWMS) 2004 года.
