  Минтранс РФ планирует внести изменения в Положение о классификации и об освидетельствовании судов. По данным Федерального портала для размещения проектов нормативно-правовых актов, публичное обсуждение инициативы продлится до 31 мая 2017 года, ожидаемая дата вступления изменений в силу - январь 2018 года, текст проекта пока не опубликован.
  
  В настоящее время в законодательство Российской Федерации, регулирующее вопросы классификации и освидетельствования судов были внесены изменения, обуславливающие необходимость внесения изменений в Положение о классификации. Также организациями, уполномоченными на классификацию и освидетельствованию судов, была сформирована правоприменительная практика, указывающая на необходимость внесения изменений в Положение о классификации.
