Associated British Ports Holdings Ltd announces appointment of Phil Nolan as Non-Executive Chairman
ABP announces that Phil Nolan has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Associated British Ports Holdings Ltd. Phil replaces Robert Walvis who retired as Chairman on 28 February. Mr Nolan will take up his new role on 4 July.
Mr Nolan is currently also Non-Executive Chairman of Ulster Bank Ireland DAC, John Laing Group Plc and Affinity Water Limited.
Having been educated at Queen’s University, Belfast, where he graduated with a PhD in Geology, Mr Nolan worked with British Petroleum, British Gas and served as CEO of Eircom, Ireland’s national telecommunications supplier from 2002 to 2006.ABP Chief Executive, James Cooper, said: “Phil brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience from a wide range of businesses.
“We look forward to welcoming him as our new Chairman and working together to take the business forward.”
