    KL Sandefjord стало первым судном обеспечения платформ, получившим обозначение класса DNV GL Shore Power (фото)

    Судно обслуживания якорей морских платформ KL Sandefjord (владелец K Line Offshore AS, «дочка» Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd.) стало первым морским судном такого типа, получившим обозначение класса Shore Power классификацонного общества DNV GL. Как сообщает пресс-служба K Line Offshore AS, класс Shore Power подтверждает наличие установленного бортового оборудования для подключения к береговым объектам электропитания. При стоянке в порту судно сможет отключать свои двигатели и получать необходимое электроснабжение от береговых объектов на причале.

    По словам старшего вице-президента по эксплуатации и техническому обслуживанию K Line Offshore AS Эспена Сёренсена, получение класса для бортовой силовой установки от DNV GL, означает улучшение экологичности операций судна в порту. Процедура была проведена совместно с администрацией порта Берген и DNV GL. Аналогичный класс получит и другое судно данного проекта KL Saltfjord.

    Подключение судна к береговому электроснабжению не только позволяет сократить потребление топлива, но также устраняет связанные с этим вредные выбросы, улучшает качество воздуха в порту и окружающей среды. Помимо этого, в течение всего времени пребывания в порту судно сможет остановить работу двигателей, что сокращает износ оборудования и ограничивает шумы.

    Технические требования для питания бортового оборудования с берега основаны на международном стандарте для высоковольтных береговых подключений, установленных IEC, ISO и IEEE (публикация IEC / ISO / IEEE 80005-1 Utility connections in Port, Часть 1: Системы подключения высокого напряжения /HVSC). В настоящее время дорабатывается Часть 3 этих стандартов и будет касаться низковольтных береговых объектов подключений. DNV GL участвует в этой работе в качестве члена рабочей группы IEC.

    DNV GL входит в тройку лидирующих организаций в мире по сертификации. Классификационное общество было создано в результате слияния 12 сентября 2013 года двух обществ - DNV и GL. Помимо услуг по сертификации и освидетельствованию для морской отрасли компания оказывает классификационные и консультационные услуги для нефтяной и газовой промышленности, по возобновляемым источникам энергии и энергоэффективности.
