    Судостроительная группа DAMEN Shipyards передала в эксплуатацию первые суда проекта FCS 4008 компании Marine Core & Charter LLC (MC2) из Абу-Даби (ОАЭ), обслуживающей сектор морской ветроэнергетики в Персидском заливе. В сообщении нидерландского судостроителя отмечается, что это был первый контракт на поставку судов, подписанный между MC2 и DAMEN Shipyards Group.

    Разъездной катер для доставки персонала на морские установки FCS 4008 является последним в портфеле продуктов Damen. Первый из двух катеров FCS 4008 – AMPI - был доставлен заказчику в конце сентября, всего через два месяца после подписания контракта.

    Второе судно серии FCS 4008, получившее имя AMIA было торжественно передано на церемонии 23 ноября 2017 года на причале Emirates Palace Marina (Абу-Даби), в ходе которой гендиректору MC2 Адибу Абдель Массиху были вручены документы на судно.

    Разъездные катера FCS 4008 оборудованы посадочными местами для 90 человек. Максимальная скорость – 25 узлов, дальность плавания – 1,2 тыс. миль, что позволит судам доставлять персонал на самые уделенные морские установки. Площадь грузовой палубы составляет 140 кв. м для перевозки грузовых контейнеров и оборудования. Конструкция DAMEN носовой части Axe Bow обеспечивает отличную мореходность и безопасность при разных погодных условиях.

    Судно FCS 4008 длиной 40 м недавно дополнило линейку разъездных судов DAMEN серий FCS 5009 длиной 53 м и FCS 3307 длиной 33 м. Серия 4008 является, по сути, урезанной версией 5009, но эти суда способны выполнять различные роли: помимо доставки персонала, они имеют оборудование для тушения пожаров, удаления разливов нефти, несения дежурства, выполнения буксировки и охраны.

    Компания Marine Core & Charter LLC (Абу-Даби) специализируется в сфере фрахтования, судового менеджмента, буксировке судов, транспортировки и обслуживании морских установок. Флот компании с учетом последних поставок составляет 20 судов, включая СПБУ, жилые модули-баржи, буксиры и многофункциональные катера.

    Международная судостроительная группа DAMEN Shipyards Group (головной офис - г. Горинхем, Нидерланды) объединяет 40 судостроительных и судоремонтных верфей. Общая численность персонала компании по всему миру составляет 9 тыс. человек. Компанией построено на сегодняшний день более 6 тыс. судов по всему миру и ежегодно передается в эксплуатацию около 160 новых судов. DAMEN специализируется в проектировании и строительстве буксиров, катеров, патрульных, высокоскоростных и грузовых судов, земснарядов, судов для обслуживания морских платформ, судов для ликвидации аварийных разливов нефти (ЛАРН), фрегатов и мега-яхт.
