    ОИС «Адмирал Владимирский» совершило деловой заход в порт Мумбаи (Индия)

    Океанографическое исследовательское судно (ОИС) Балтийского флота «Адмирал Владимирский», совершающее гидрографический поход, совершило деловой заход в порт Мумбаи (Индия), сообщает отдел информационного обеспечения Балтийского региона (Калининград).

    За время стоянки в индийском порту экипаж пополнит запасы топлива, воды и продовольствия, а также получит возможность отдохнуть на берегу после длительного морского перехода.

    На первом этапе дальнего похода промерено на глубину свыше 11 тысяч линейных километров, а всего пройдено более 15 тыс. морских миль.

    По маршруту движения из Балтийского моря в Индийский океан специалисты осуществили также 426 метеорологических наблюдений, свыше 100 гидрологических исследований при помощи гидрологических станций, порядка 1400 испытаний работы навигационной системы ГЛОНАСС в интересах корректуры морских навигационных карт.

    Ранее, в начале января, экипаж совершил деловой заход в порт Лимассол (Кипр).

    Экипажу судна «Адмирал Владимирский» и участникам экспедиции на его борту поставлена задача в течение шести месяцев похода выполнить комплекс гидрометеорологических наблюдений, провести большой объем исследовательской работы с целью корректуры морских навигационных карт по маршруту перехода в Балтийском, Северном, Средиземном и Красном морях, а также в Индийском океане и в северо-восточной части Атлантического океана.

    Главными задачами экспедиции, в которую отправилось судно «Адмирал Владимирский», являются комплексные океанографические исследования в Индийском океане. ОИС «Адмирал Владимирский» вышло в поход из Кронштадта 15 декабря 2017 года.
