    АМПУ подписала меморандум о сотрудничестве с Qatar ports management company

    Меморандум о сотрудничестве между Администрацией морских портов Украины (АМПУ) и Qatar ports management company Mwani Qatar подписан по итогам визита делегации министерства транспорта и коммуникаций Катара в Украину. Как сообщает пресс-служба АМПУ, документ направлен на увеличение грузооборота между странами, в том числе экспортных поставок украинской сельхозпродукции в Катар, а также привлечение инвестиций в развитие портовой инфраструктуры Украины.

    Меморандум был подписан 31 июля 2018 года в Киеве в присутствии министра инфраструктуры Украины Владимира Омеляна и министра транспорта и коммуникаций Катара Д. Аль Сулейти. С украинской стороны подпись под документом поставил руководитель АМПУ Райвис Вецкаганс, от Катара —  генеральный директор Mwani Qatar Абдулла Аль Ханджи.

    Накануне подписания руководитель катарской портовой компании встретился с Райвисом Вецкагансом в Одессе, где ознакомился с работой и потенциальными инвестиционными проектами в портах «Южный» и «Одесса».

    «Одно из приоритетных направлений, которые планирует развивать Катар в сотрудничестве с Украиной – это экспорт сельхозпродукции. В связи с этим, на встрече с Абдуллой Аль Ханджи мы детально обсудили проекты концессии портов «Ольвия» и «Херсон», которые находятся в непосредственной близости от основных сельскохозяйственных регионов Украины»,— отметил руководитель АМПУ, комментируя подписание меморандума с Катаром. Кроме того, по словам Райвиса Вецкаганса, Катар также заинтересован участвовать в развитии порта «Южный». Этот порт, в соответствии со стратегией АМПУ, благодаря работам по дноуглублению в ближайшие годы сможет принимать самые большие суда, которые могут проходить через пролив Босфор.

    В свою очередь генеральный директор Mwani Qatar Абдулла Аль Ханджи подтвердил, что консультанты катарской компании уже рассматривают два проекта по порту «Южный». Также их заинтересовал проект развития пассажирского терминала и отеля в порту «Одесса».

    В заключение министр инфраструктуры Украины Владимир Омелян выразил уверенность в том, что уже в ближайшее время Украина и Катар перейдут к непосредственной реализации проектов в портовой и авиационной сфере, направленных на развитие транспортной инфраструктуры и расширение сотрудничества между двумя странами.
