    Убыток Torm по итогам I полугодия 2018 года составил $7,5 млн против прибыли в $3,3 млн в соответствующем периоде прошлого года. Как следует из материалов компании, убыток за II квартал 2018 года составил $8,6 млн против убытка в $1,7 млн по итогам II квартала 2017 года.

    Средние фрахтовые ставки по танкерам-нефтепродуктовозам во II квартале 2018 года сократились на 6%, составив $12944 в сутки. При этом в сегменте LR2 средние ставки упали на 13% - до $14190 в сутки, в сегменте LR1 выросли на 4% - до $11403 в сутки, в сегменте MR сократились на 8% - до $13005  в сутки, а в сегменте Handysize не изменились и составили $11887 в сутки.

    Компания также сообщила, что приняла решение об установке скрубберов на 14 судов. В 2019 году ожидается поставка в состав флота компании трех судов класса MR. Всего по заказу компании строятся десять судов.

    TORM (головной офис – Копенгаген, Дания) является одним из старейших (создана в 1889 году) и ведущих мировых перевозчиков светлых нефтепродуктов (бензин, топливо для реактивных двигателей, керосин и дизельное топливо). Компания управляет флотом из приблизительно 80 современных судов, имеющих повышенный класс безопасности и экологичности. Представительства компании расположены в Маниле, Сингапуре, Мумбаи и Хьюстоне. Численность персонала TORM – 2700 моряков и 275 сотрудников береговых служб.
