    На финском ледоколе Polaris опробована система ликвидации разливов нефтепродуктов

    Встроенная система сбора разлившихся нефтепродуктов на новейшем ледоколе Polaris (владелец Arctia Polaris) была испытана в море 27 сентября 2018 года. Как сообщает пресс-служба владельца судна, установленная на судне система повышает эффективность ликвидации нефтеразливов с использованием комбинированных методов.

    В испытаниях приняли участие специалисты поставщика оборудования Lamor. Компания совместно с Arctia разрабатывает технологию борьбы с нефтеразливами в ледовых условиях.

    Оборудование включает, в частности, скиммер-нефтесборщик, расположенный внутри корпуса судна, и боны-ограничители. В ходе испытаний оборудования были выполнены маневрирование в условиях аварийного разлива нефтепродуктов. По техническим характеристикам ледокол Polaris сможет собирать единовременно около 1,4 тыс. куб. м нефтепродуктов с производительностью 200 куб. м/ч в неблагоприятных погодных и ледовых условиях.

    Финский ледокол нового поколения Polaris мощностью 22 МВт с двухтопливной движительной установкой принадлежит компании Arctia. Polaris является восьмым ледоколом в составе флота Arctia. Благодаря использованию помимо дизельного топлива сжиженного природного газа (СПГ), судно соответствует требованиям к выбросам в районах контроля выбросов (ECA) в Балтийском море. Ледокол построен на судостроительном заводе Arctech Helsinki Shipyard Inc.

    Основные характеристики: длина – 110 м; ширина – 24,4 м; осадка констуктивная – 8 м; скорость – 17 узлов; валовая вместимость – 9300 тонн; дедвейт – 3000 тонн; экипаж – 16 (+8); класс – Lloyd's Register; ледовый класс – PC4; дизель-электрическая движительная установка включает главные двигатели Wärtsilä 2x 6000 кВт, 2x 4500 кВт, 1x 1280 кВт, подвесные электрические силовые установки ABB Azipod 2x 6500 кВт (корма), 1 х 6000 кВт (нос); танки для СПГ: 2 х 400; буксирная лебедка – 300 м, 110 т; тяговое усилие – 214 тонн.

    Arctia Ltd. владеет и управляет флотом из восьми ледоколов. Компания специализируется на предоставлении ледокольного сопровождения коммерческого флота, других услуг, а также занимается управлением и фрахтованием судов в Финляндии и за рубежом. В июле 2017 года многоцелевой ледокол Arctia Nordica во второй раз прошел по Северо-западному проходу (NWP). В Финляндии в период летней навигации, когда услуги по ледокольной проводке в Балтийском море не требуются, финские ледоколы выполняют чартерные рейсы в различных районах Арктики.
