    НИС «Профессор Вознесенский» будет осуществлять комплексный мониторинг озера Байкал - Росгидромет

    Приемка научно-исследовательского судна (НИС) «Профессор Вознесенский» состоится 6 ноября 2018 года в г. Иркутск, сообщает пресс-служба Росгидромета.

    Торжественную церемонию откроют руководитель Росгидромета Максим Яковенко, заместитель руководителя Росгидромета Наталия Радькова и губернатор Иркутской области Сергей Левченко.

    НИС «Профессор Вознесенский» предназначено для осуществления комплексного мониторинга состояния загрязнения оз. Байкал (гидрохимические, гидробиологические наблюдения за загрязнением поверхностных и грунтовых вод, донных отложений), а также для жизнеобеспечения труднодоступных станций, расположенных на побережье озера Байкал.

    Судно обеспечено современным радионавигационным оборудованием, позволяющим его эксплуатацию в любое время суток, а также рассчитанное на эксплуатацию при отрицательных температурах во льдах толщиной до 20 см.

    Научно-исследовательское судно используется в целях проведения постоянных наблюдений и обследований загрязнения воды по всей акватории озера Байкал и его притоков; портов нефтепродуктами и другими загрязняющими веществами судами, предприятиями населенных пунктов и береговыми сооружениями; Селенгинского мелководья, а также выполнения работ в фоновых районах в Баргузинском и Байкальском заповедниках.
