    Rolls-Royce примет участие в строительстве нового НИС для Бельгии

    Rolls-Royce получила контракт от испанского судостроительного завода Freire на разработку эскизного проекта и поставку судового оборудования для нового морского научно-исследовательского судна (НИС) для заказчика из Бельгии, говорится в сообщении производителя оборудования.

    Судно, отвечающее стандартам полярного кода IMO, предназначено для проведения исследовательских и гидрографических работ в Северном море и прилегающих к нему морских районах, а также в Средиземном море и в северных зонах.

    НИС будет удовлетворять требованиям морского научного сообщества Бельгии при проведении программ морских исследований и обучения на море. Будущие задачи включают исследования в областях геологии и седиментологии, рыболовстве, биологии, химии, океанографии (включая метеорологию). Кроме того, судно будет участвовать в гидрографических съёмках.

    Новое исследовательское судно, которое должно заменить имеющееся RV Belgica, будет построено по проекту UT 844 WP, разработанному Rolls-Royce. Помимо проектирования судна Rolls-Royce поставит главную движительную установку, включая боковые подруливающие устройства, интегрированную пропульсивную и маневренную систему Promas, систему электроснабжения и рулевой механизм. Важной частью комплекта оборудования является система автоматизация и управления (система управления движительной установкой), единый комплекс на капитанском мостике и систему DP.

    В группу по реализации проекта нового НИС войдут Министерство обороны Бельгии, Федеральное управление научной политики Бельгии (BELSPO) и Королевский Бельгийский институт естественных наук - Управление оперативного управления природной средой (RBINS-OD Nature).

    Разработкой рабочего проекта судна и строительством будет заниматься испанская судостроительная верфь Freire в Виго. Передача судна в эксплуатацию ожидается к концу 2020 года. Rolls-Royce в настоящее время готовит проект и поставку оборудования для двух других судов, которые строятся на верфи Freire.

    Rolls-Royce является ведущим мировым производителем двигателей, энергетических установок для использования на земле, на море и в воздухе в морской, энергетической, гражданской и оборонной аэрокосмической отраслях. Компания поставила движительные установки для более чем 30 тыс. судов  работающих в шельфовых проектах, торговом судоходстве и оборонной отрасли. Rolls-Royce проектирует и производит дизельные двигатели и газовые турбины, гребные винты, подруливающие устройства, и гидромониторы, а также маневренные и стабилизирующие системы и палубные механизмы. В компании работает более 39 тыс. человек (включая 11 тыс. инженеров) в офисах, производственных и сервисных центрах в более чем 50 странах мира.
