  Дизельная подлодка ЧФ «Великий Новгород» впервые прибыла в пункт постоянной дислокации Новороссийск

  В Новороссийской военной морской базе 3 апреля 2019 года прошла торжественная церемония встречи большой дизельной подводной лодки «Великий Новгород» после совершения перехода и выполнения задач в Средиземном море. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба Минобороны России.
  
  Ранее корабль прошёл через Черноморские проливы Дарданеллы и Босфор и зашел в Севастополь.
  
  Отмечается, что это первое прибытие субмарины в пункт дислокации соединения подводных лодок ЧФ город-герой Новороссийск после её включения в состав Черноморского флота.
  
  За время нахождения в дальней морской зоне выполнялись задачи в составе постоянного соединения Военно-Морского Флота в Средиземном море, где провели боевые стрельбы комплексом крылатых ракет морского базирования «Калибр-ПЛ» по объектам террористов на территории Сирийской Арабской Республики.
  
  Подводная лодка «Великий Новгород» – одна из шести дизель-электрических подводных лодок третьего поколения обновленного проекта 636.3, построенных для Черноморского флота. Головной подводной лодкой данного проекта является ДЭПЛ «Новороссийск».
  
  Особенностью серии подлодок данного проекта является сочетание небольших размеров и низкого уровня шумности с мощным торпедным и торпедно-ракетным вооружением. Лодки данной серии могут противодействовать как подводным, так и надводным кораблям, и предназначены для защиты военно-морских баз, морского побережья и морских коммуникаций.
