Vasily Boitsov appointed as USC Vice-President for Technological Development
Vasily Boitsov has been appointed as Vice-President of United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) responsible for technological development, a source in USC told IAA PortNews. This position was earlier held by Dmitry Kolodyazhny.
Previous position of Vasily Boitsov is the Director of the Department for Expert Analytics and Control of Federal Expenditures for National Security and Law Enforcement of the Accounts Chamber’s Administrative Office. Before that he used to work for the Eurasian Commission, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Sollers, etc.
United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC OJSC) is the largest shipbuilding company in Russia. It was set up in 2007 with 100% federal ownership. The holding comprises 40 companies and organizations (major shipbuilding and shiprepairing companies as well as leading design bureaus). Currently, USC consolidates the bulk of the domestic shipbuilding complex. The Russian market is the main focus of the state corporation though it also exports its products to 20 countries worldwide.
