    Ледокол «Виктор Черномырдин» успешно завершил ходовые испытания

    Ледокол «Виктор Черномырдин», строящийся по заказу ФГУП «Росморпорт», успешно завершил ходовые испытания и встал у причала №9 «Адмиралтейских верфей». Эту информацию ИАА «ПортНьюс» подтвердили источники на судостроительном предприятии и у заказчика.

    Экипаж остался доволен поведением судна. Его передача заказчику планируется в течение 5-6 недель.

    В соответствии с условиями госконтракта ледовые испытания в Арктических морях судно пройдет уже после передачи ФГУП «Росморпорт», поскольку ледовое поле необходимой толщины и прочности установится только в марте-апреле 2020 года.

    «Виктор Черномырдин» - один из самых мощных дизель-электрических ледоколов в мире. Судно водоизмещением 22,3 тыс. тонн способно развивать скорость около 17 узлов на чистой воде и проходить льды толщиной до трех метров в сплошном поле со снежным покровом 20 см со скоростью 2 узла на переднем и заднем ходу. Ледокол отличает высокая маневренность, он оснащен системой пневмообмыва корпуса против образования снежно-ледовой корки. Экипаж – 38 человек. Автономность – 61 сутки.

    Ледокол предназначен для ледокольной проводки и буксировки судов. Способен перевозить и снабжать научные экспедиции в Арктике и Антарктике: на судне размещаются до 90 человек помимо основного экипажа, есть специальные помещения и лаборатории для размещения научного оборудования. Ледокол может выполнять функции пожарного судна.
