    Терминал APM Terminals в порту Гетеборг (Швеция) обязуется перейти на альтернативные источники энергии уже в 2020 году

    В течение 2020 года APM Gothenburg Terminals (Порт Гётеборг, APM Terminals) намерен полностью перейти на использование возобновляемых источников энергии при перевалке контейнерных грузов в соответствии со своей концепцией GGG («Зеленые ворота Гётеборга»), говорится в сообщении группы A.P. Møller-Mærsk (владелец APM Terminals).

    О запуске программы Green Gothenburg Gateway было объявлено в пятницу 6 декабря 2019 года на официальном мероприятии.

    «Благодаря концепции Green Gothenburg Gateway терминал будет обеспечивать доступность Швеции к мировым рынкам, быстро и качественно обрабатывая грузопотоки», - сообщил Хенрик Кристенсен, управляющий директор APM Terminals Gothenburg.

    Уже начаты работы по обеспечению бесперебойной обработки контейнеров на терминалах, и уже в следующем году при перевалке всех видов потребительских товаров через терминал APM Terminals Gothenburg терминальный оператор полностью откажется от использования углеводородного топлива.

    Клиентами контейнерного терминала Гетеборга являются крупнейшие экспортеры и импортеры Швеции, заинтересованные в уменьшении воздействия на климат, но без увеличения затрат за услуги и при сохранении конкурентоспособности терминала.

    APM Terminals Gothenburg идет на этот шаг не только для удовлетворения спроса клиентов, но и для реализации масштабной экологической задачи, поставленной перед транспортным сектором Швеции. Парламент страны постановил, что к 2030 году выбросы парниковых газов от внутренних перевозок должны сократиться на 70% по сравнению с 2010 годом.

    С момента ввода в эксплуатацию контейнерного терминала в порту Гётеборга группа APM Terminals инвестировала и провела ряд изменений, которые сказались на уменьшении вредного воздействия операций на окружающую среду. Утверждается, что в результате программы по переходу на возобновляемые источники энергии выбросы углекислого газа уменьшатся примерно на 90% по сравнению с 2010 годом.

    Крупнейший портовый и терминальный оператор APM Terminals (головной офис — Гаага, Нидерланды) входит в состав A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S. Основным направлением деятельности компании является проектирование, строительство, управление и эксплуатация морских портов и терминалов, а также «сухих» терминалов в рамках своей сети, раскинутой в 67 странах мира и включающей активы в 74 портах и более 117 внутренних логистических сервисов. В компании работают 22 тыс. сотрудников. APM Terminals является также крупнейшим оператором портов и терминалов в Африке, управляя 12 активами в 10 странах континента, в том числе перевалочными пунктами в Танжере, Марокко и Порт-Саиде (Египет). В настоящее время осуществляются проекты по расширению терминалов в порту Абиджан, Кот-д'Ивуар и Бадагри (Нигерия).
