    Верфь Concordia Damen построит для STC Group учебное судно с экологичными характеристиками

    После проведения европейского тендера компания Concordia Damen (входит в группу Damen Shipyards Group) получила контракт на строительство нового учебного судна для группы STC, говорится в пресс-релизе Damen.

    Новое судно будет использоваться при обучении морских курсантов. Новое экологическое судно заменит два учебных судна — Princess Christina и Princess Beatrix, которые уже более 50 лет используются Роттердамским морским учебным заведением.

    В 2018 году курсанты и преподаватели STC Group, при поддержке бизнес-сообщества, провели конкурс и выбрали имя для нового судна – Ab Initio («В начале» - ред.) Компания Concordia Damen, принявшая участие в тендере, учла все технические и экологические требования к проекту.

    Чтобы судно отвечало требованиям к экологичности операций, Concordia Damen оснастит его гибридной дизель-электрической пропульсивной установкой в комплекте с аккумуляторным блоком. Кроме того, на судне Ab Inito будут установлены панели солнечных батарей. Помимо требований к экологичности будущего судна, STC Group поставила задачу перед участниками тендера создать судно, которое внешне выглядело бы как судно будущего.

    Оснащение судна будет выполняться на верфи Concordia Damen в Веркендаме (Нидерланды). Завершение строительства Ab Initio планируется на 2022 год.

    Роттердамской группа STC (The Shipping and Transport College Group) является группой высших учебных заведений Европы, готовящих специалистов морского и речного транспорта.

    Судостроительная компания Concordia Damen Shipbuilding (г. Веркендам) специализируется в проектировании и строительстве судов для внутреннего судоходства, современных и экономичных морских судов. Верфь строит и поставляет суда заказчикам по всему миру. Concordia Damen также является опытным судовым брокером по фрахтованию судов и оказывает услуги по управлению флотом речных судов. С момента своего основания Concordia Damen поставила более 140 судов различного назначения судовладельцам в Нидерландах и по всему миру. Concordia Damen в основном работает на европейском и южноамериканском рынках.

    Нидерландская компания Damen была создана в 1927 году и в настоящее время, как международная судостроительная группа Damen Shipyards Group с головным офисом в г. Горинхем, объединяет 34 судостроительных и судоремонтных верфей по всему миру. Общая численность её персонала составляет 12 тыс. человек (3,5 тыс. - в Нидерландах). На сегодняшний день на верфях группы построено более 6,5 тыс. судов и ежегодно передается в эксплуатацию около 176 новых судов в 100 странах мира. Damen специализируется на строительстве буксиров, катеров, патрульных судов, высокоскоростных судов, грузовых судов, земснарядов, судов для обслуживания морских платформ, судов ЛАРН, фрегатов и мега-яхт.
