  Ракетный подводный крейсер «Князь Владимир» завершил испытания в Белом море

  Контрольные испытания проводились сначала – в надводном, а затем – в подводном положении

  Ракетный подводный крейсер стратегического назначения (РПКСН) «Князь Владимир» завершил мероприятия контрольного выхода в море и прибыл в Северодвинск, сообщила пресс-служба Северного флота.

  Крейсер действовал в Белом море с 12 мая. Поисково-спасательное обеспечение испытаний РПКСН «Князь Владимир» выполнили буксиры Беломорской военно-морской базы и спасательное судно «Михаил Рудницкий».

  Приём корабля в боевой состав Военно-морского флота планируется осуществить после оценки результатов контрольного выхода. Основную часть испытаний, в том числе ракетные и подводные торпедные стрельбы, РПКСН «Князь Владимир» прошёл в конце 2019 года в обеспечении сил Беломорской военно-морской базы Северного флота.

  РПКСН «Князь Владимир» является головным кораблём усовершенствованного проекта 955А - «Борей-А» - атомных подводных лодок 4-го поколения. От подводных крейсеров проекта 955 он отличается обводами корпуса, пониженной шумностью и лучшей управляемостью. Крейсер оснащён комплексом межконтинентальных баллистических ракет «Булава» и современным минно-торпедным оружием.
