    Камчатская таможня оформила южнокорейские буксиры, прибывшие в составе аварийно- спасательной экспедиции

    Суда со спецоборудованием прибыли для ликвидации последствий аварии в Беринговом море

    Два морских буксира с баржами и плавучим краном, прибывшие из Республики Корея, оформила Камчатская таможня. Караван судов со специальным технологическим оборудованием и высококвалифицированной командой спасателей и водолазов прибыл для ликвидации последствий аварии, произошедшей в Беринговом море, сообщила пресс-служба Дальневосточного таможенного управления.

    Как рассказала и.о. начальника таможенного поста Морской порт Петропавловск-Камчатский Камчатской таможни Алёна Гуреева, корейские суда,  прибывшие в морской пункт пропуска Петропавловск-Камчатский, далее отправятся к берегам Чукотки, где в 2011 году потерпело кораблекрушение южнокорейское рыболовное судно «Oriental Angel», для проведения аварийно-спасательных работ.

    Из-за произошедшего на борту траулера пожара экипаж покинул судно. В результате неуправляемое рыболовное судно село на мель в Беринговом море в районе мыса Военных топографов (Анадырский район Чукотского АО).

    Известно, что Oriental Angel получил сильные повреждения днища по всей длине, что затрудняет его дальнейшую транспортировку. Кроме того, в отсеках (танках) траулера осталось некоторое количество нефтепродуктов (мазута, дизельного топлива, машинного масла).  Это представляет реальную угрозу экологической безопасности для побережья в случае утечки нефтепродуктов.

    Аварийно-спасательные и подводные работы по утилизации нефтепродуктов и демонтажу рыболовного траулера планируется завершить в течение трех месяцев.
